uncle nick - i don't have a gramophone, so your two tribes 12" is no good to me, however dad tells me that he did record the pleasuredome album onto mp3 complete with full static, scratches and pops, so i will happily listen to two tribes and tell you what i think. grandpa wasn't very impressed when daddy bought that album, but daddy won't tell me why yet.

Joel, i don't wish to tread on your dad's toes in any way here - heaven forfend!- But i fear you are being altogether too north American in your sensibility.
At times one must return to the cultural wonder that is Bristol for inspiration. And on this occasion it affords me great pleasure to inform of the Christmas record that is sweeping the south west.

The ditty in question is now available online for 1.50. Though given the strength of the pound (or 'our glorious ancient currency' if you're especially Eurosceptic) i'm not sure how cost effective this will be. Maybe you could do them a trade with some rusks or something.
