i'm concerned of late that mom and dad are sleeping in separate rooms. dad has taken to sleeping in a sleeping bag on the sofa. he says it's so he doesn't get woken up by oliver feeding every 2 or 3 hours, and so that he can come and read me stories at 6.30am without waking mom and olly. i'm a bit concerned there's more to it, so i came up with a great plan to make dad sleep in his own bed with mom.
this morning i threw up all over dad's sleeping bag, really properly, all over it. he managed to get me over to the kitchen to finish up, so i was kind and helped him mop up that bit.

unfortunately, the scheme didn't really work, because dad took the sleeping bag to the laundry saying it was good to get it washed anyhow. i unfortunately have now thrown up several times, and am not holding down crackers, milk or water, i have turned a nasty shade of green, and cry a lot thanks to a painful tummy. Oliver's been crying a lot too, and mom has not eaten much for days. it looks like we are the home of the sick for a while .. dad's doing OK so far, but he's not very happy.

Joel, let me introduce you to a concept called 'negative integration'. This is where two opposing or seperated parties find common ground over shared negative experiences . . . I suggest driving the musical diggy bob into the bedroom at half hourly intervals until marital harmony is restored.
